FOUNDATION

Modeurop is an organisation that was founded in Switzerland in 1960 by Europe´s then leading leather and shoe institutions, with the goal of achieving a common language with regard to leather colours.

Regular meetings at which the participating  members presented numerous leather colour proposals, led to the creation of a common leather colour chart, which served all members as the basis for developing their collections.
MODEUROP was integrated as an organisation into the DSI – the German Shoe Institute – at the end of the 1990s.

In 2008, MODEUROP – the fashion pool in the DSI –  was formed, providing the entire industry quickly and foresightedly with all important fashion information around leather, shoes and bags.

 

COLOUR CLUB

MODEUROP. . . is a `fashion community´. We combine creativity, an eye for fashion and pragmatism for our industry.

 

MODEUROP  NETWORK:

International round table meetings and trend meetings at
trade fairs provide opportunities for an unique exchange
of information.


Trendletter

We will report on
• The most important trade fairs covered in the media (leather, material and textile fairs),
• Continually updated pictures (photos of footwear, bags and fashion) from international fashion centres such as London, Milan, Paris and Berlin.
• The latest news and tips on footwear.
